Militants use banned anti-aircraft systems, continue attacks on ATO forces

The combined Russian-separatist forces attacked Ukrainian army positions in eastern Ukraine 30 times overnight, the press center of the Anti-Terrorist Operation wrote on Facebook on Tuesday.

"The situation in the Donbas conflict zone remains tense. Terrorists continue to resort to provocative fire in all directions. They attempt to force our military to return fire in order to accuse Ukraine of violating the Minsk agreements, as well as to justify their nonwithdrawal of heavy weapons from the contact line," the press center said.

From 18:00 to 06:00 Kyiv time on November 24, the mercenaries were firing banned anti-aircraft systems, rocket-propelled grenades, heavy machine guns and small arms in the direction of the towns of Krasnohorivka, Avdiyivka and Maryinka, and the villages of Pisky and Troitske.

In the direction of Artemivsk, the occupiers fired small arms on the town of Maiorsk and the village of Zaitseve. In Mariupol area, they opened fire near the villages of Bohdanivka and Shyrokyne.They also attacked the Ukrainian positions in the village of Orikhove.
