Brother shoots sisters dead on eve of their weddings in double honour killing
A brother shot dead his two younger sisters on the eve of their weddings because they chose their own husbands.
Police are looking for Nazir Hussaid, 35, from the Punjab province of Pakistan, who shot his sisters in a double honour killing, reports Mail Online.
Kosar and Gulzar Bibi, 22 and 28, were getting ready for their big day, but Hussaid had objected to the weddings and wanted his siblings to marry men within the extended family, according to police.
Senior police officer Mehar Riaz told the Mail Online:
‘The brother shot dead both the sisters yesterday and fled the site.
‘It is a simple case of killing for honour.’
The devastated father, Atta Mohammad, told local reporters that Hussain had ‘destroyed’ the family and ruined everything.
