We’ve all got that mate who is way taller or smaller than us. You’ve always got a crick neck from talking to them and they make you look ridiculous.
But you love them nonetheless because friendship has no height limit – as one safari pair know only too well.
South African photographer Ayesha Cantor, 49, was driving around Kragga Kamma Game Park in the Eastern Cape when she stopped to take some snaps of giraffes basking in the sun.
But she noticed one giraffe who was more preoccupied with something on the ground.
‘My daughter and I were taking a late Sunday afternoon game drive around the park. The light was lovely so on coming across a group of giraffes, I stopped to snap a few sunset pictures.
‘One giraffe kept bending down, we did not immediately relaise why he was doing that. And then we saw the bunny.’
Ayesha says that the rabbit seemed completely unfazed by the bigger animal, saying it looked ‘relaxed under the feel of the giraffe’.
