Jon Hamm is an unabashed St. Louis Cardinals fan. A simple Google image search of “Jon Hamm Cardinals” turns up dozens of photos of him in Cardinals gear attending games.

With the Cardinals missing the playoffs, and the rival Chicago Cubs in the World Series, you might think Hamm would be laying low.

Not at all.

On Friday night, the Cubs hosted a World Series game for the first time since 1945. Fans started lining up at Wrigley Field and neighborhood bars at 6 a.m. ET. The entire city was whipped up into a Cubs frenzy. And right in the middle of it all was Jon Hamm wearing a Cardinals hat with a troll smirk on his face.

Hamm didn’t just wear a Cardinals hat to the Cubs’ World Series game. He did it with tickets going for thousands of dollars — after all, even this seat directly behind a huge pole is still worth more than $2,000. And to make it even better, the Cardinals logo on Hamm’s hat was the logo the team used from 1900-1919. You know, back in the time the Cubs actually won a World Series.

The Cardinals may be at home watching the series, but Hamm still wins this round.
