The agreement was signed in Kyiv on Monday by Minister of Finance Natalie Jaresko, U.S. Ambassador Jeffrey Payette and Mission Director of the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) Jed Barton, BBC reports citing Corruption.info.
The Ministry of Finance planned to issue Eurobonds 2015 under the guarantee of the United States in the first half of May.
U.S. loan guarantees for $1 billion came into force April 24, 2015 and provide 100% payment by the borrower of the loan principal and accrued interest.
