The former boxing world champion is no stranger to humiliating defeats in 2016 with Khan suffering a brutal knockout at the hands of Canelo Alvarez in May.
Khan has no desire to leave boxing anytime soon, but he does think Rousey’s attitude during the Nunes fight hints at a UFC star ready to retire.
‘It’s the way Ronda got beat,’ Khan told ES News.
Amir Khan picks one thing Rousey did in Nunes fight which suggests she is done
‘When she got hit with a good shot she was in shock.
‘It’s like she froze in the fight, she was too hesitant to go in there and fight.
‘Her confidence wasn’t there.
‘I think she’s done man.’
Rousey lasted just 48 seconds against bantamweight champion Nunes on her return from a 13-month absence from the octagon.
The disastrous defeat has fans and media predicting Rousey’s imminent retirement while the 29-year-old released a statement after the fight.
Rousey refused to confirm whether she was retiring or not as she insisted she would be taking time to decide her future.
